As a product and fashion designer, professor and curator, I combine design practice with a research-based, conceptual and educational approach to fashion and textiles.
My work focuses on fashion and textiles as material records of lived culture. I am interested in how objects, garments, materials and collections reflect cultural, social and design developments, and how these stories can be explored and brought to life for different audiences. Through the conception and realization of exhibitions, the interpretation and presentation of textile collections, and the development of workshops and educational formats, I bring these perspectives together with my many years of experience as a designer and professor.
